Origami. Kirigami. Paper airplanes. Papier mache. Papermaking. Scrapbooking. Making paper, and making things out of paper; that's what this lens will be about. As you probably can tell, paperfolding may be my favorite!
This lens is still under development, but it's one of the most popular of my lenses; if you enjoy it, you can easily share it on other sites you use, by clicking the button at the top of this module. (You can get a similar button for your own lenses or other web pages, from AddThis!)
Did you find what you were looking for?
According to the statistics Squidoo provides me as a lensmaster, people especially like the designs in the Plexo I grabbed from kab'schiyogami lens. Many of my visitors from a search engine seem to be looking for a specific papercraft project, usually some kind of origami; if you are such a person, and your search hasn't been successful, you could leave a request in the guestbook so that I or one of my readers might help you find it!

Note from B7T: Even as a youngster folding paper into toys, I observed geometric principles evident in the creases, as discussed in this article.
The art of paper folding, or origami, has received a considerable amount of mathematical study. Fields of interest include a given paper model's flat-foldability (whether the model can be flattened without damaging it) and the use of paper folds to solve mathematical equations.
Some classical construction problems of geometry ? namely trisecting an arbitrary angle, or doubling the volume of an arbitrary cube ? are proven to be unsolvable using compass and straightedge, but can be solved using...
